I’ve been in love with cameras since the age of four. I took advantage of the family equipment available to capture moments, both still and recorded. Over the years, the camera has been my crutch; taking photos that satisfy me; my therapy. From floral and fauna, cloud formations and sunscapes, to my recently evolved interest; portrait photography.
Studying a Bachelor’s Degree in filmmaking has given me access to more sophisticated equipment and more challenging tasks. It also gave me the opportunity to learn and appreciate the incredible and creative world of lighting, the vital tool that is neccesary in ‘painting’ the scene, envisioned.
To me, the camera is an extension of my body, and I embrace every opportunity I get to make use of it. Handheld camera helps me in doing so, conveying that personal touch to everything I film is very important to me; capturing shots from specific angles that are coupled with bodily movements that give a sense of human touch and immersive viewing.
My skills evolve with every opportunity I gain, and this is just an indication of my capabilities.
